The Dark Ages

Journal Entry: Tue Jun 3, 2008, 3:37 PM
  • Mood: Eager
  • Listening to: When I die
  • Reading: won't you please feed me
  • Watching: to the lions of the Kalahari
  • Playing: I don't care
  • Eating: if they eat my bones
  • Drinking: Cause I know I won't be going home
So I'm taking a B&W photography course at uni and it feels so good to be back in a dark room with all the chemical smells and amber lights. The class felt like it was going by at a snails pace at first, but now we're pretty much left up to our own devices for a week at a time to do assignments. Basically, I've got a BUNCH of prints and I'd love to put them up here for critique/comment but ... what's the best way to get prints onto a computer?

I tried taking some pictures with my digital camera but that didn't really work out too well. I think we have an ancient scanner lying around somewhere ... where the software is I have no clue!

HELP!

PS - new Sam Roberts makes me dizzy it's so good!

The Fountain??! Oh, man... its a good film, it really is, maybe a great film, but technically parts were redundant, like the scene where we first meet Hugh in 2000 and he's urging Rachel that he needs to continue his work FOR HER. Anyways, not a bad scene and usually in storytelling doing things in 3's is good - but usually when they progress or are different however minimally, but Aronovsky uses the EXACT same scene. im nitpicking, it was excellent and a damned shame it wasn't recognized more than it was. like, fucking nominate it for special effects, at least!
